Update November 29, 2020

Dear Parents/Guardians:

It is with great regret that I must inform everyone that Alpha School will need to close for in-person instruction effective immediately for an initial duration of 14-days up to and including Friday, December 11, 2020. Alpha School will be converting operations to full remote instruction beginning Monday, November 30, 2020.

For everyone’s awareness, we recently received notification of two separate positive confirmations: one staff person and one student. Those that have been identified as close contacts will receive a separate notification informing them of their status.

We recommend that everyone do their due diligence and continuously observe for signs or symptoms and follow up with your health care providers.

At all times, the health and safety of all of the Alpha School community, students and staff, is paramount. We will continue to monitor the situation and share all pertinent details as they arise. We will reassess the opportunity to continue in-person operations as soon as possible and make the necessary transitions when that time comes.

Estimados padres/tutores:

Es con gran pesar que debo informar a todos que Alpha School tendrá que cerrar para la instrucción en persona con efecto inmediato durante una duración inicial de 14 días hasta el viernes 11 de diciembre de 2020, incluido. Alpha School convertirá las operaciones a instrucción remota completa a partir del lunes 30 de noviembre de 2020.

Para la conciencia de todos, recientemente recibimos la notificación de dos confirmaciones positivas separadas: una persona del personal y un estudiante. Aquellos que han sido identificados como contactos cercanos recibirán una notificación separada informándoles de su estado.

Recomendamos que cada persona haga su debida diligencia y observe continuamente los signos o síntomas y haga un seguimiento con sus proveedores de atención médica.

En todo momento, la salud y la seguridad de toda la comunidad, estudiantes y personal de Alpha School, es primordial. Seguiremos supervisando la situación y compartiendo todos los detalles pertinentes a medida que surjan. Reevaluaremos la oportunidad de continuar las operaciones en persona lo antes posible y hacer las transiciones necesarias cuando llegue ese momento.
