Students Hunger Challenge
Congratulations to all our students, staff and families for another wonderful and successful year for our Students Change Hunger Challenge. Since the start of SCH (12 years ago) Alpha School has won the Division 1 Award for very year for the past 10 years and we have been honored to receive the Special Award for Pounds per student. This year we collected 31 pounds per student!!! Thank you again for helping our students to make a difference and helping our families and neighbors in need in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
“Students change Hunger is a statewide school food drive competition designed to help our neighbors in need during the holiday season. Schools are categorized by the size of their student population. The schools then compete to collect as much food as possible. The schools that bring in the most food in their division are given special awards at the end of the competition.”
