Blessing Bag Brigade 2019

The students of Alpha School’s Career Education classes have been volunteering with The Blessing Bag Brigade for the last three years.  Kevin Garrison, who established The Blessing Bag Brigade has been dropping off necessities for the homeless for our students to sort and put in bags so he can take the items to the homeless on the streets of New York City and in various locations in New Jersey.  The Alpha School had decided to help The Blessing Bag Brigade in another way.  They are asking staff, families and friends to donate items that they can put in bags and give to The Brigade.   Some of the items that they are collecting include, men’s socks, snack foods, water bottles, and travel size toiletries that include shampoo, body wash, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, lotion, deodorant, wipes and disposable razors.  The students are doing this as their way to celebrate Valentine’s Day and the spirit of giving.  If you would like to donate any of the needed items, you can drop them off at Alpha School.  You can also find out more about The Blessing Bag Brigade by visiting their website, Blessing Bag BrigadeNJ.org.  Thanks to all who donate to this worthy cause!!!
