Alpha School of Jackson Special Olympics Bowling Event

On Saturday, February 3rd, our Special Olympics Bowling Team had their first competition at 88 Lanes in Lakewood.  Our coaches, Kathy Moore and Claire Wiggins, have been practicing for this event for months.  We had nine student athletes who participated.  There were families, friends and staff members who came to cheer them on.  Four of our students received gold medals, two received silver and two received bronze.  We are so proud of each and every student on the team.  Those who received gold and silver will be moving on to the State Sectionals at Strathmore Lanes in Matawan on February 24th.  We will be there to cheer them on again.  Go Team!!!!
