Important update regarding our school operations (as of March 16, 2020)
This is Mr John with an important update regarding our school operations
As of this moment Alpha School will be open to all students on Monday, March 16th
We recognize that some of your home districts have already closed and this will have an effect on transportation especially districts using their own vehicles.
Should your district be closed already and district transportation is not available, Alpha School is open and you may bring or arrange transportation for your child.
Should your child remain home please be advised that if your family qualifies for free or reduced lunch, your home district will continue providing meals at this time. Please contact your local board of education, school, or case manager for details.
Beginning Monday, March 16th our after school Social Skills program will be cancelled until further notice
We recognize that these events are unprecedented and we are all navigating through this together. Should we reach the point that Alpha School closes for an extended period of time each of our teachers and staff members are prepared to provide distance learning through various methods of contact. Your child’s classroom teacher will be in contact with daily learning activities and will be available for support. As will all support staff and therapists.
During this time should you and your family require additional support please do not hesitate to contact us. You can communicate with your child’s classroom teacher, any staff member that also works with your child, or me directly. My email is gonzalezj@alphaschool.com.
