Nurturing Skills for a Brighter Future

At the heart of Alpha School's mission lies the commitment to provide a safe and nurturing educational environment. Our Work-Based Learning Program is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world employment. With a dedicated Work-Based Learning Coordinator, our students engage in hands-on training within and outside our school, exploring areas such as maintenance, office work, delivery services, and food services. This immersive experience is pivotal in fostering essential work and social skills, paving the way for our students' successful transition to adulthood.

Community Engagement and Supportive Employment

Our vision extends beyond the school walls, as we partner with local businesses to offer our students on-site job training. Accompanied by an Employment Specialist, students receive the support they need to excel in a real-world work environment. This collaborative effort not only benefits our students but also enriches the community and local economy by promoting an inclusive workforce.

A Continuum of Support

Transitioning to life after graduation can be daunting, but at Alpha School, we ensure that our students and their families are not alone in this journey. For those who may not secure employment immediately, we offer an approved adult day program through our Prime Time Center, providing a continuum of support and learning opportunities.
