Our Health Education program was developed in conjunction with our Adaptive Physical Education program. The Health program focuses on self-care, good hygiene practices, healthy eating, self-advocacy and how to acquire the proper medical assistance, or other help if needed. Artist in Residence
Art Inspiration is the key for every artistic work produced in an Alpha Art class. Each student is given the opportunity to create their own style and use art as a means of expression. The program features: exposure to different art styles, principles, techniques, annual art exhibits at various community settings, artwork featured at local museums, and participation in art contests sponsored by local community agencies.
Alpha School’s Music program includes group sessions that are focused on increasing self-expression, socialization, and communication through activities such as rhythmic drumming, instrumental improvisation, music listening, movement songs and songwriting.
